The words "cutting edge," "relaxing," "educational," and "user-friendly" are rarely used in the same sentence, but the NAumann Group has been able to creatively combine all these terms to describe their new real estate center. Jason Naumann, owner of the Naumann Group, is breaking out of the traditional mold for real estate centers with the opening of a new brokerage office in Tallahassee.
The company's new home base, located at 1953 Thomasville Road, aims to set the standard for state-of-the-art brokerage firms in the greater Panhandle area.
"We are taking a new age, interactive approach with our building. It's a new approach to real estate offices," says Naumann.
The new building's ground floor is devoted to customer education, comfort, and convenience. Visitors are free to enjoy complimentary baked goods delivered every morning from Food Glorious Food while they watch DVDs of new listings and developments on flat screen televisions. The lobby is designed to be a real estate café and will provide laptops for browsing the internet and for catching up with the latest news in regional real estate.
"No matter if you just want a fresh cup of Barnie's coffee and search real estate information or if you are looking for a new place to live and are here to speak with one of our agents, our building can meet your needs," Naumann reports.
Customer education is the real goal of the high tech lobby. Naumann simply explains that buyers need to be educated. With that in mind, Naumann agents will hold monthly seminars in finance and real estate on the third Thursday of every month. These programs will be free to the first 25 registered visitors.
The building's upper floor is occupied with private suites for its agents and their assistants as well as company conference areas.
The Naumann Group was founded in April 2001 and has since grown to employ 22 agents with offices in Ochlockonee Bay, Crawfordville, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee. Although the company's per agent productivity is outstanding, Naumann's real estate philosophy is more focused on individualized service rather than corporate expansion.
"We have tried to stay relatively small. We want the least amount of agents but the best full time real estate people in Tallahassee. I do not want to have a 60 person company. Our goal is to help grow individual contract businesses in the area. This idea really lends itself to our new building,' says Naumann.
Over the past five years the Naumann Group has specialized in marketing and selling residences in new sub-divisions. Their new homes in Tallagassee and Wakulla County range in price from $150,000 to $325,000. The company's five coastal agents deal with higher end vacation properties.
"Our focus is as a full service brokerage company. Marketing and sales are our strongest points," says Naumann.
To celebrate their new building, the Naumann Group will host an open house on Thursday, October 12 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. The event will feature a live band, food, prie giveaways, and facility tours.
